Our annual district-wide food drive runs November 9–20!Mill A School and PCIA will compete to collect the most donations while working together to support our community.

What to donate:
🥫 Canned, boxed, and other non-perishable food
🧴 New, unopened toiletries

Send donations to school anytime during the drive! Each school’s collection will grow in a separate area of the library so students can watch their progress.

🍕 Both schools will celebrate with a special pizza lunch party, and the school with the most donations will take home the trophy! 🏆

Let’s go, Bobcats and Owls—every donation makes a difference! 💙

We are writing to inform you that regular bus service will be canceled on Friday, Sept. 18, and Monday, Sept. 21.

Because of limited bus driver and substitute driver availability, MASD cannot provide its regular bus route on these two dates.

School will remain open on both dates. If a student is unable to attend school because bus transportation is unavailable, the absence will be excused.

We understand that a bus service cancellation can be challenging for families, and we apologize for the disruption. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding.

If you have questions or concerns about your student’s transportation needs, please contact the MASD office at 509-538-2522.

Thank you,
Kelly Stickel

Today, Mill A School District partnered with the American Red Cross to conduct a surprise emergency preparedness drill. We were fortunate to work alongside many of our dedicated local Red Cross volunteers as we learned more about community preparedness and available services. What a wonderful group of respectful, committed volunteers. Thank you, Red Cross, for your partnership and support!
