Food Service Program

024-2025 Food Services Update:

Mill A School District no longer meets minimum requirements to participate in the House Bill 1238 that has provided meals at no cost to K-8 students in the previous school year. Mill A Elementary & Pacific Crest Innovation Academy will operate under standard National School Lunch Program/School Breakfast Program (NSLP/SBP) for the 2024-25 school year.

All students who qualify for free and reduced-price meals will receive meals at no cost. Students who do not qualify for free and reduced-price meals will be charged the student meal prices listed on the attached NSLP/SBP Letter to Households for Public Schools.

The Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit (CNEEB) Application (formerly referred to as the Household Application for Free and Reduced-Price Meals) is used to determine eligibility for meals at no cost. Also, the information you provide by returning the eligibility application impacts the funding that each school receives from the federal and state government. The eligibility application is used to capture information and ensure Mill A School District receives all of the funding it is entitled to for federal meal programs and state educational programs.

In keeping with District Policy 3231, the district will protect and retain student information and records in compliance with FERPA and all relevant state and federal laws.

If you think your student(s) may be eligible for free and reduced price meals, please complete the CNEEB Application linked below or request a copy and return it to the Mill A School District Front Office.
